Application Process
Students must submit an application for admission to the school before their financial aid file will be processed. If you have questions regarding the admissions application or admissions procedures, please contact the admissions office. We recommend that you schedule an appointment for an overview of Federal Student Aid before beginning the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process.
To Apply for Federal Student Aid:
Go to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid website at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Select "Start Here" and complete the application
You will be asked "When are you attending college?"
Apply for the 2011-2012 Federal Financial Aid year.
You will be directed to create a PIN number.
You will need the following to complete the application:
HAI's U.S. Department of Education School Code: G41837
Your Federal Tax Return. If you have not or will not file a return you will be given instructions as to how to fill out the application.
Dependent students will need a copy of their parents' Federal tax return
NOTE: A new feature is available on the FAFSA. With just a few simple steps, students & parents who have completed their IRS tax return will be able to view & transfer their tax information into their FAFSA.
