HAI offers advanced programs and classes to assist students in achieving academic credit of more than the 500 hours required by the State of Colorado. This will assist if you are planning to move to a state that requires more than 500 hours of training. If this is your intention, please notify administration so we can advise you as to the best course of action to meet specific state requirements.

In addition, if you desire 1000 hours of training as a statement of your dedication to this field we have many continuing education and advanced program options to help you achieve this goal. The cost varies depending on which classes you choose.

Teaching Assistant Program

The Healing Arts Institute's Teaching Assistant Program is great opportunity for students to review, assist and even learn how to teach. Any student may apply if they have successfully completed the class they wish to assist in. We have you participate at the level you are comfortable with. Past assistants have told us the experience was a verification of how much they did know. Others loved the opportunity to help others and some have gone on to be teachers here at HAI.
